Principal Data Engineer

We are seeking a Principal or Staff Data Engineer to join our IOPS IT team, building the data infrastructure and pipelines that power data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will architect and optimize scalable data solutions, drive technical standards, and mentor junior engineers — while collaborating with partners across Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to deliver reliable, governed, and innovative data capabilities. What you’ll do:

• Architect and optimize secure, scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for real-time and batch processing, integrating diverse data sources and establishing CI/CD practices and fault-tolerant systems • Designing data lake and warehouse solutions that ensure large datasets are organized, accessible, and of high quality; implement data modeling and schema design aligned to business needs • Monitoring pipeline performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing observability and alerting systems to maintain reliability across the data platform • Ensuring adherence to data governance policies and industry regulatory requirements including 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and…
