Systems Administrator I

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operations of servers, and virtualization. This includes monthly upgrades for servers and monitoring of server performance. This role works closely with developers, technical coordinators, and technical support teams.

This is an onsite position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, Windows servers, while working collaboratively with QA, software development, and IT on a daily basis • Hands-on experience designing and implementing end to end continuous Azure delivery pipeline utilization • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new features or upgrades of IT infrastructure • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures • Research and resolve basic network, hardware and software application problems • Future growth responsibilities to include Azure DevOps, development lifecycle while supporting deployment pipelines • Additional duties as assigned
