Senior Backend Engineer

•••••• is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for the Member Acquisition team to work on backend systems that support organic growth channels, referral engines, onboarding journeys, and platform configuration for international expansion. Stack: Golang, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Memcached, Elasticsearch, GitHub, Grafana, Kibana Responsibilities: Scale peer-to-peer referral program and build automated voucher and incentive distribution systems Configure platform to launch •••••• in new international markets and design data migration pipelines Build, test, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot backend services supporting high-traffic workloads Contribute to technical discussions, solution design, code reviews and maintainable, well-tested code Requirements / About you: Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building backend applications Professional experience or strong interest in Ruby; eagerness to learn Go Experience with databases, APIs, service-based systems; curiosity about distributed systems and architectural trade-offs Service extraction experience (tech-leading extraction from monolith to standalone services) is a strong plus Conditions & benefits: Hybrid work (Kaunas or Vilnius) — recommended 2 days in office Share options programme, 25 working days holiday, private health insurance Home office support (up to €540), personal monthly •••••• shopping budget, workation allowance Learning budget, team events, dog-friendly offices and office perks
