We are seeking a Bioinformatics Engineer for our client based out of San Diego,CA.This is a hybrid role. Job description is below.

Position Overview:

Role-Bioinformatics Engineer Location- San diego,CA[Hybrid] Contract Duration: 6+ months with a high possibility of extension

Job Overview:

· Design and implement bioinformatics analyses to support the development of novel assays, improvement of assays under development, and hypothesis testing requested Product Development and Computational Biology team. · Collect and document product and software requirements and findings from analyses executed by themself and others. · Design and implement software modules implementing the requirements collected from data analyses. · Assist with the integration of software modules into pipelines. · Design and implement software modules to automate data analyses. · Prepare and provide information and data for scientific abstracts/conferences/project meetings/publications. · Identify and address trends in study data. · Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. · Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures. · Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 50% of a typical working day. · Ability and…
