Lead the Future of Data, Analytics & AI

We're looking for an experienced Head of Data Engineering to lead and shape our enterprise-wide data strategy, modern analytics platform, and AI-readiness roadmap.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing organisation where data is at the heart of strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology, you'll take ownership of our Azure-based data platform and play a pivotal role in driving innovation, governance, operational excellence, and business performance through trusted data and analytics.

You'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, working across Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to deliver scalable, secure and business-focused data

solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

Data Strategy & Governance

• Define and deliver the organisation's data and analytics strategy, roadmap and standards. • Drive the development and maturity of data governance practices across the business. • Establish clear ownership, data quality frameworks, lineage, metadata standards and access controls. • Partner with senior stakeholders to identify and prioritise high-value analytics and AI initiatives. • Provide expert guidance on data architecture, feasibility, cost, risk and technical direction.
