Chewy is looking for an Software Development Manager to join our Fullfillment Center Technology & Science team in Seattle. As an engineering leader of a diverse and dynamic team, you will build and scale applications, data platforms, and frameworks that support and optimize Chewy’s fulfillment center operations. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and strong leadership to deliver robust, high-quality engineering system aligned with business objectives. Additionally, you will lead the engineering team and work closely with cross-functional partners to design and deliver a next-generation data platform, addressing critical challenges across our fulfillment center operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a Software Engineering team, consisting of 5+ Team Members of various experience levels • Drive priorities, technical decisions, delivery, continuous improvement, and support of current and future projects. • Define and advocate for guidelines in software development, testing, deployment, and production support. • Define and champion operational excellence that enable system observability and alarming.
