OPS Data Governance and Technology Assistant Florida Digital Service State of Florida Department of Management Services This is an in-office position located in Tallahassee, FL

The Florida Digital Service provides enterprise leadership to advance the secure, responsible, and effective use of data across Florida state government. The Data Governance and Technology Assistant provides part-time operational and technical support within the Office of the State Chief Data Officer (OSCDO). The position performs structured, supervised work that improves the quality, consistency, documentation, testing, and efficiency of OSCDO enterprise data initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Governance, Metadata, and Standards Support

• Assist with reviewing and validating dataset metadata and other structured information used in statewide data discovery and interoperability capabilities. • Support development and publication of data standards, governance guidance, templates, and reference materials by maintaining source references, review comments, change logs, document versions, and publication records. • Conduct structured research and assemble source material for review by data governance and technical staff. • Assist with…
