We're currently supporting an organisation based Sheffield who require an experienced DevOps Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing, automating, and optimising cloud-native platforms within a highly regulated enterprise environment. Responsible for driving DevOps best practices, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes-based deployments across Google Cloud, helping to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.

Role Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support scalable cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud (GCP). • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages. • Manage and optimise Kubernetes (GKE) environments, Docker containers, and Helm deployments. • Build, enhance, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git-based workflows. • Implement DevSecOps practices, integrating security and code quality tools into delivery pipelines. • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve platform reliability and automation. • Monitor and optimise platform performance using tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and AppDynamics. • Support hybrid cloud environments and ensure robust networking and security controls are in place. • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and pipeline-related issues. • Drive continuous…
