Associate AI Engineer

Salary: £41,500 - 69,500 per year

Requirements:

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, or another relevant STEM discipline. • Practical experience building AI or machine learning applications through employment, an internship, academic work, or substantial projects. • Proficiency in Python and experience with APIs, JSON, Git or other version control, and testing; familiarity with SQL and software development practices. • Practical understanding of large language models and patterns such as prompt engineering, embeddings or vector search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic workflows; familiarity with at least one machine learning or AI framework or SDK. • Practical exposure to Azure or another major cloud platform for developing or deploying applications, and an understanding of CI/CD,
