About the role:

As a Principal Mechanical Systems Engineer you will oversee the design, development, implementation, and analysis of highly complex technical products, processes, components, equipment, and systems.

You will report to the Mechanical Systems and Equipment Nuclear Plant Mechanical Engineering. This position is hybrid in nature requiring several days a week on-site at Westinghouse's Cranberry Woods Headquarters office, and the other days telecommuting. No relocation will be provided for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate design efforts for one or more mechanical systems, components, or technical projects. • Verify, review, and co-author documents, assuring high quality, use of Human Performance tools, and training of professionals. • Author or co-author complex reports and licensing submittals. • Work is both independent and collaborative, and of a complex nature, requiring extensive technical experience and capabilities. • Perform system design planning, including system design; design review preparation; and interfaces with other systems, testing, components, licensing, and others.…
