A Day in the Life

The Equipment Development Engineering function develops manufacturing equipment, automation, and software solutions that enable safe, reliable, and scalable production. Based onsite in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland, the team partners across Research & Development, Operations, Quality and Global Engineering to support new products, technology platforms, capacity growth, and manufacturing excellence.

The Equipment Development Engineering Manager leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for equipment development, manufacturing automation, and software engineering. Bridging Research & Development and Operations, this leader ensures robust, cost-effective manufacturing solutions from early concepts through high-volume production and directly advances automation, product transfers, technology development, and new product introductions.
