Data Engineer (Finance)

Job Description

We are the Customer Profitability squad within the Finance Tribe - a dynamic and geographically diverse team consisting of Business Analysts, Data Engineers and Cloud Platform specialists based in Denmark and Lithuania. We follow an agile framework, with our Product Owner located in Lithuania. As Data Engineer you will be part of the Data Engineers/Business Intelligence Analysts chapter, which is led by a dedicated Chapter Lead.

Our squad delivers a solid data foundation & reports enabling advisors, performance management and other decision makers to efficiently assess customer profitability. We secure profitability setup by continuous optimization and ongoing support of our data.

We are looking for an analytical, curious and service-minded colleague who enjoys working across business, finance and data. You take ownership, ask critical questions and bring structure to complex topics while balancing recurring operational work with change initiatives. You communicate clearly with both business and IT stakeholders, learn quickly and stay reliable when several priorities run in parallel.

You will:

• Run monthly data updates, validations and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely reporting. • Investigate data quality issues, unexpected movements and incidents, and support root-cause analysis. • Gather and challenge requirements, translate them into business rules, data mappings and validation criteria. • Trace data from source systems through ETL…
