Job Description:

The Database Administrator will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of database systems implemented in support of AAO applications. The AAO database infrastructure consists of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates solid knowledge in database design, development and integration principles • Fundamental knowledge of database administration best practices and techniques • Experience supporting mission critical database management systems • Understanding of ANSI Standard SQL constructs for Database Administration • Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, migrating, provisioning, securing, patching, backing up and recovery of enterprise database systems • Conceptual knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) database architectures • Good understanding of networking concepts and principles in a client/server database environment • Experience in Unix, PowerShell or other scripting language • Must have good…
