The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Take ownership of a core data platform, from initial design through production operation. The work blends pipeline engineering, data modeling and hands-on collaboration with customer technical environments. The position is on-site and offers a route toward managing an engineering team as the company grows.

What you'll do

- Build and strengthen data pipelines that handle live production workloads coming from older business systems. - Convert bespoke customer setups into a reusable ingestion framework that supports many formats and integrations. - Model and store pricing, demand and supplier information so it is dependable and simple to query. - Put in place checks, validation and monitoring so the numbers shown to users can be relied upon. - Develop the underlying infrastructure for AI agents and LLM-based data intake as they evolve. - Study customer systems and datasets closely so each integration reflects how they truly operate. - Contribute to product direction alongside the founding team.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 3 to 5 years of backend or data engineering work with Python and TypeScript, plus strong SQL. - A track record of deep ownership of systems, including running and improving them over at least a year in your latest position. - Production experience delivering backend software, such as services or data…
