Location: Hybrid - North Greenwich, London, 50% office attendance Model Salary: £65,000 - £68,000 Plus Fantastic Benefits Ad closes: Sunday 18th October at 23.59 This role is not eligible for UK Sponsorship About us The vacancy is within the cloud infrastructure team that manages hybrid cloud platforms across Azure and AWS (Amazon Web Services) for TfL (Transport for London). We are delivering capital projects that enable capability for our travelling public in London, and data analysis that informs decisions and opportunities. The key is optimally running infrastructure that performs to expectations that is cost efficient. As a team we must move fast in keeping pace with the rapidly released vendor innovations. About the role The infrastructure engineer will technically understand cloud platforms to be able to help and deliver new projects and designs. The engineer must understand how cloud platforms link between data centres and supplier sites securely. When onboarding Cloud accounts, a technical understanding on how to apply design standards, recommend, and apply security best practice, cost optimise, and modernise using latest products. As a proficient scripter, the engineer will write code. Utilising scripting skills to help DevOps teams deliver infrastructure as a code through pipelines. Importantly assisting other tech teams write code that builds infrastructure and extract data from the cloud platforms. The engineer will join conversations with our stakeholders.…
