Software Engineering Manager

Salary: £80,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with Golang or similar backend technologies. • Previous experience in a leadership, team lead or engineering management role. • Strong understanding of microservices and distributed architectures. • Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices. • Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making ability. • Experience working in Agile environments. • Desirable: experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda. • Desirable: experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Desirable: experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems. • Desirable: background in fintech or regulated environments. • Desirable: experience scaling engineering teams in high-growth organisations.

Responsibilities:
