Senior Infrastructure Projects Engineer (Windows, Microsoft 365 & Cloud) – 6 Month Contract – London

VIQU are supporting an organisation in the search for a Senior Infrastructure Projects Engineer to deliver a varied programme of business-critical infrastructure, cloud and security projects.

The successful Senior Infrastructure Projects Engineer will take hands-on ownership of projects across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualisation, disaster recovery, networking and infrastructure security. This is a delivery-focused position suited to an engineer with a track record of completing defined infrastructure projects from initial discovery and planning through to implementation, testing, documentation and operational handover.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver Windows Server rebuild and modernisation projects, including domain controllers, file servers, DFS services and supporting infrastructure. • Design and deploy a new Hyper-V platform and support the migration of workloads from the existing VMware environment. • Enhance Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange hybrid and wider Microsoft 365 integrations. • Develop, test and document disaster recovery capabilities, including recovery playbooks, remediation actions and operational procedures. • Contribute to SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams migration initiatives alongside Microsoft Purview, data retention and information protection improvements. • Support infrastructure networking and security projects…
