The AAA team delivers a portfolio of projects covering user-facing AI agents, integrations across university systems and new microservices that automate and improve day-to-day university processes. About You The Postgres Database Administrator designs, builds and operates the PostgreSQL databases that AAA services rely on. The postholder works alongside backend developers and platform engineers to make the databases reliable, performant and secure, and partners with the Technical Business Analyst and source-system owners on schema, migration and integration design. This is a hands-on Postgres database administration role. The emphasis is on strong PostgreSQL fundamentals across performance tuning, replication, backup and recovery, and security, applied to production databases running on Kubernetes via CloudNativePG.
