BI Analyst

Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience using Microsoft Excel • A good understanding of business principles and how data can support effective decision-making • Strong communication and presentation skills • An analytical mindset and good commercial awareness • Excellent prioritisation, organisational and time-management skills • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills, systems and technologies • A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work • Desirable: experience creating reports, dashboards or business analysis • Desirable: experience using Power BI • Desirable: previous experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analysis or a similar analytical role • Desirable: experience presenting data, insights and findings to business stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in line with business requirements and best practice • Analyse datasets to ensure reports use accurate and appropriate data sources • Create visually engaging, user-friendly reports that provide meaningful business insights • Review and improve existing reports to keep them accurate, effective and up to date • Deliver report walkthroughs and train users when new reports or enhancements are introduced • Produce ad hoc reports and analysis to support business priorities and…
