USV Product Manager

Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant experience in uncrewed systems, autonomous systems, defence technology, maritime systems, aerospace, robotics, or a closely related field • Strong understanding of the USV supplier market, vehicle architectures, payload options, autonomy stacks, communications links, and mission software • Product or capability leadership experience, including strategy, roadmap ownership, requirements definition, and business case development • Ability to turn ambiguous customer needs into structured product decisions, system-level requirements, and practical delivery plans • Good understanding of maritime surveillance missions, such as border security, EEZ monitoring, illegal fishing, port security, ISR, and critical infrastructure protection • Familiarity with sensor payloads such as radar, EO/IR, AIS, sonar, RF detection, acoustic systems, or other maritime intelligence sources • Systems-engineering literacy sufficient to assess integration feasibility, interface dependencies, and supplier claims • Commercial awareness, including experience evaluating suppliers and assessing cost models • Confident customer-facing communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders, operational users, technical teams, and external partners
