Operations Business Analyst

Job Description

The Campus Operations Business Analyst collects, analyzes, and reports data that measures institutional performance across sustainability, facilities, dining, campus business services, finance, and operations. The Analyst will manage and interpret datasets, coordinate assessments and reports, and collaborate with campus partners to enhance transparency and support data-driven decision-making. Working with Campus Operations staff, the Analyst will help track and monitor building systems and equipment, utility performance, sustainability initiatives, food costs, and other financial and operational metrics. This role plays a key part in advancing the University’s operational goals and reports to the Office of Campus Operations, working closely with department leaders.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Data Analytics, Performance & Reporting

• Design, implement, and maintain data collection processes for sustainability, facilities, dining, campus business services, utilities, and other financial and operations metrics. • Aggregate and validate data from multiple sources (building management systems, utility meters, financial systems, POS, surveys, spreadsheets). • Maintain data integrity, document data definitions, methodologies, data sources and procedures, and manage central data repositories. • Develop, calculate, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for energy, water, waste, equipment uptime, food cost, labor productivity, revenue, and…
