Data Analytics Engineer

- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar languages - Demonstrated autonomy in an environment with open ended problems - Excellent communication with senior level stakeholders, technical and non-technical - Experience building or working on production data pipelines, hands-on - 5+ years in data science, product analytics, analytics engineering, or a combination - Availability to work in office in San Mateo 3x days per week - Experience defining, analyzing, and aligning business users on shared metrics - Experience analyzing performance of self-service developer-facing products - Dbt, Coalesce, or a similar transformation framework in production — models, tests, docs, shared repo - Background in AI infrastructure including inference, GPU-hour metering, attributing revenue to mixed model use, etc

Join Fireworks as our first Data Analytics Engineer. In this role, you will support our product management team by defining key metrics, improving our data model, and ensuring accurate measurement of business performance. You should have proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience in data science or analytics engineering. This position requires in-office work in San Mateo three days a week.
