The Role

As a Staff Cloud Identity Platform Engineer, you will design, automate, operate, and continuously improve secure, reliable, and scalable identity services for a global enterprise. You will support Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Entra External ID, and foundational Azure infrastructure across workforce, application, partner, and external-user experiences.

This role applies Site Reliability Engineering principles to cloud identity, including service-level objectives, observability, automation, error-budget management, incident response, resilience engineering, capacity planning, and reduction of operational toil. You will help establish identity platforms that are secure by design, measurable, recoverable, and dependable at enterprise scale.

What you’ll do

• Design, configure, implement, and operate Microsoft Entra ID capabilities for workforce and application identity. • Implement Microsoft Entra External ID capabilities for external users, partners, and application experiences, including registration, authentication, federation, user journeys, and authorization patterns. • Integrate applications and services using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and other secure identity standards. • Configure and support single sign-on, multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, role-based access control, privileged access, identity governance, and access reviews. • Develop secure patterns for application onboarding, directory synchronization, service…
