The Opportunity

We're working with an innovative, technology-led organisation that is building sophisticated software platforms at the intersection of software engineering, data science, analytics and risk.

They are looking for a Software Engineer with around 2-3 years' professional experience to join a highly skilled and collaborative engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer who is strongest on the backend but enjoys working across the stack and wants to broaden their technical skill set.

You'll primarily work with Python and FastAPI, developing APIs and data-intensive backend services, while also contributing to modern frontend applications and user-facing features.

You'll work closely with experienced engineers, data scientists and subject-matter experts to build products that solve complex, real-world problems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and maintaining backend services using Python and FastAPI • Designing and building robust REST APIs • Contributing to frontend applications using TypeScript • Integrating frontend applications with backend services and data sources • Building interactive dashboards, charts and data visualisations • Working with PostgreSQL and ORM technologies such as SQLAlchemy • Developing reliable, scalable and high-performance applications • Working with cloud-native technologies, particularly Google…
