Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: £75,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance. • Experience as a Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar role, with strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills. • Strong knowledge of Linux, VMware, SQL, and IP networking, with Bash and/or Python scripting experience. • Strong object-oriented programming, coding, and debugging skills; Java is strongly preferred. • Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, stored procedures, and complex systems. • Experience supporting high-performance, high-availability, distributed, or mission-critical systems, ideally in a secure or 24/7 environment. • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, ownership, and continual improvement. • Experience with Redis/NoSQL, Apache ActiveMQ, server load
