The Opportunity

Harnham is partnering with a leading global organisation in the life sciences sector seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support a highly specialised data engineering programme involving complex medical imaging and biomedical datasets.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of Data Engineering, Cloud Technology and Medical Imaging, building scalable data solutions that support advanced scientific research and innovation.

The successful candidate will combine strong hands-on engineering capabilities with experience working with imaging data or a relevant computational background.

The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing and optimising scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL and GCP. • Working extensively with BigQuery to process, transform and manage complex datasets. • Supporting the ingestion, processing and structuring of medical imaging and biomedical data. • Developing robust data engineering solutions for large-scale imaging datasets. • Applying data modelling, optimisation and software engineering best practices. • Collaborating with technical and scientific stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performance data…
