We're representing an established industrial fabrication organization seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality operations across complex pressure vessel, boiler and welded piping projects serving nuclear and conventional industrial markets.

This is a hands-on leadership mandate for someone who knows ASME Code inside and out, understands the realities of fabrication, and has the confidence to lead a QC team while maintaining rigorous standards in a demanding production environment.

You'll have direct ownership of the quality control system, technical inspections, code compliance and final documentation, working closely with production, customers and Authorized Inspectors.

What You'll Own

• Lead, develop and oversee a team of approximately 4–5 quality professionals. • Manage the QC system and coordinate inspection activities across multiple fabrication projects. • Develop and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), NDE requirements, weld maps and inspection documentation. • Oversee dimensional, fit-up, visual and welding inspections, including NDE, hydrotesting and PWHT requirements. • Manage welding procedure and welder qualifications, including WPS, PQR and WPQ documentation. • Drive non-conformance resolution, corrective actions, internal audits and continuous improvement. •…
