Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a qualified candidate for the Network/System Administrator position. This role supports Department of Defense (DoD) classified programs by assisting with the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, to ensure secure and reliable operations within classified environments.

The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in system and network administration, including supporting LAN/WAN systems, troubleshooting technical issues, preparing systems for deployment, and assisting with vulnerability mitigation as new IT capabilities are established.

Basic knowledge of system architecture, security protocols, and disaster recovery processes is preferred. Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and compliance requirements, including JSIG and Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards, is beneficial. The candidate will work closely with ISSMs, ISSOs, and ISSEs to help maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of mission systems.
