Oracle Data Engineer

Oracle Data Engineer (SC Cleared) £570 per day | Inside IR35 | 6 Months | London (2 Days per Week) | Start ASAP

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Data Engineer to join a major government programme, supporting the design, development and optimisation of enterprise-scale data solutions within a secure environment.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team, you will play a key role in building robust data pipelines, integrating complex datasets and enabling data-driven decision-making across critical services.

Essential Requirements:

• Active SC Clearance • SC clearance must have been used within the last 12 months • SC clearance must have a minimum of 3 years remaining before expiry • Strong experience as an Oracle Data Engineer or similar data-focused role • Expertise in Oracle Database technologies, including PL/SQL • Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes • Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills • Experience working with large-scale and complex data environments • Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders

Desirable Experience:

• Government, public sector or defence experience • Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, Azure or AWS • Experience with data warehousing and data modelling methodologies • Exposure to data governance, security and compliance frameworks
