Software Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to develop applications and data pipelines supporting an asset management firm's financial operations. This role combines hands-on software engineering with direct business engagement across portfolio analytics, fund performance, accounting, and middle-office operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications supporting investment management and financial operations. • Build and enhance backend services and data pipelines using C#/.NET, Python, and modern software frameworks. • Develop solutions supporting portfolio analytics, fund performance reporting, accounting, and financial planning. • Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into reliable technical solutions. • Optimize existing workflows through application enhancements, automation, and systems integration. • Develop and maintain database integrations across SQL Server, Snowflake, and Redis environments. • Support testing, code reviews, continuous integration, vulnerability remediation, and production deployments. • Collaborate across engineering and business teams to improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
