Quantitative Developer

• Development and enhancement of the MSCI Index Development Platform and the IndexMetrics Real-Time application using modern software engineering practices, Python, Azure, and AI-assisted development tools • Championing AI-enabled software development across the organization by evaluating emerging tools, developing best practices, delivering training, and providing technical guidance to engineering and research teams • Contribution to innovative quantitative research initiatives including factor investing and alternative data projects, supporting the full lifecycle from research and prototyping through implementation, client engagement, and product delivery • Excellent Python software development skills with experience using AI-assisted development tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code, identify subtle defects, challenge assumptions, and deliver robust, maintainable solutions • Understanding of equity markets, portfolio construction, or quantitative investment processes or strong interest in developing expertise in these areas • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to work effectively across research, engineering, and business teams • Experience designing reusable software libraries, frameworks, APIs, or developer platforms • Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices • Salary range: HUF 13,728,000 - HUF 15,101,000 per year plus…
