Summary

An infrastructure engineer ensures all the DBT Infrastructure systems that support business operations function efficiently. Additionally, the infrastructure engineer may also support and develop specific platforms and will concentrate on unifying communications, messaging and identity toward a seamless user experience. Provide assistant to Service Desk team as escalation point supporting ITIL model.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents • Server administration Windows and Linux deployment • Managing the Infrastructure incident support queues activities on a day to day operational basis. • On-premises infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing • Identity and user management solutions provided by Azure or 3rd party • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

• Desired Certifications: VMware, Azure • 7-10 years of experience with Windows and Linux-based operating system configuration, automation, and management. • 5-7 years of experience with Automation scripting including PowerShell and other configuration as code tools • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology Management or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • ITIL V4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.
