Rate: £470 per day inside IR35

Are you an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Harness, Ansible Automation Platform and enterprise-scale automation, ideally gained within the banking or financial services sector?

We’re looking for a highly skilled DevOps Platform Engineer to design, build, automate and manage scalable, secure and reliable infrastructure platforms that enable development teams to deliver applications efficiently within a large-scale banking environment.

The role will focus on Harness and Ansible as centralised enterprise platforms, supporting multiple engineering and development teams. You’ll be responsible for platform reliability, automation, security, integrations and developer experience, with the opportunity to influence how platform services are delivered across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage centralised Harness and Ansible platform capabilities • Administer and maintain Harness CI/CD at enterprise scale • Develop and manage pipeline-as-code and reusable Harness templates • Design and maintain robust, reusable Ansible Playbooks, Roles and Collections • Manage Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Ansible Core environments • Manage inventories, execution environments and RBAC across centralised Ansible instances • Deliver Harness and Ansible as shared services for multiple engineering and…
