Senior AI Engineer

Join Johnson Controls to help build an enterprise Agentic AI Platform that enables intelligent AI agents to automate and enhance business workflows across the organization.

You will design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions that combine reasoning, knowledge retrieval, and enterprise system integration while helping to define standards and best practices for AI engineering, governance, and platform development.

How You Will Do It

• Design and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows that solve real business problems. • Build RAG and knowledge retrieval solutions using enterprise data sources. • Integrate AI solutions with APIs, business applications, and data platforms. • Establish standards for AI evaluation, monitoring, security, and governance. • Optimize AI solutions for quality, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. • Partner with engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members.

Required Capabilities & Skills

AI Solution Design

• Ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable AI solutions. • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities. • Experience designing and deploying AI or machine learning solutions in production environments.
