• You must be an Australian Citizen • Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) required • Rate: $120–$130 per hour including superannuation • Anticipated start: 1 January 2027 • Initial term: 12 months • Extensions: Options up to a further 24 months • Locations: Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane or Melbourne • Working arrangements: Hybrid by agreement. You must reside within reasonable travelling distance of your nominated office and attend onsite when required. • Occasional out-of-hours work may be required for scheduled activities or complex incidents.

About the opportunity Canberra Consulting is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specialising in Database Platforms to support a major Federal Government agency. This senior technical role will deliver expert database administration across Microsoft SQL Server, IBM Db2 z/OS, IBM Db2 Midrange and MongoDB, with an immediate focus on critical MongoDB upgrades and migrations.
