Data Engineering Consultant

Salary: £65,000 - 80,000 per year

Requirements:

• Extensive data engineering experience as a consultant, ideally with a Big Four or other major consulting firm. • Experience working within or advising financial services organisations, such as banking, insurance, asset management, or capital markets, and understanding of relevant FCA/PRA expectations for data engineering and AI. • Exposure to data platforms, programming languages, and AI tools such as Alteryx, Knime, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica, Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Python, and SQL. • Experience implementing and refining data engineering and AI analytics tools to automate internal audit processes. • Experience scoping, delivering, and reporting on internal audits, and presenting conclusions to stakeholders. • Deep expertise in data governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK and DCAM, as well as
