Lead Data Scientist

Compensation: $130k – $200k CAD • No equity

Class8 is building a suite of products to help trucking companies better run their business, and help them connect with freight opportunities through brokerages and other data partners. Our team works with real-time, big data across thousands of trucks, and creates apps across multiple surface areas including mobile, desktop, and embedded vehicles.

We’re looking for a highly ambitious, creative Lead Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be building the core ML, AI, and LLM systems that underpin our Carrier and Capacity Science products. Our team does everything from trying to predict vehicle behaviour from real-time, unlabelled sensor data to building agentic voice solutions to solving mixed-integer linear problems.
