The right person for this job is a skilled and experienced senior developer with experience across software development, Linux, hardware and who has taken an active interest in local AI models.

You must have experience with Linux, configuring Linux, Linux hardware.

You must have experience configuring and tuning local models with the local AI toolset, GGUF, langchain, llama.cpp and more.

The work is focused on finding out what AI models can do in practice when compute and memory are limited. You will take ideas, build prototypes, run tests, analyse the results and work out whether an approach is good enough to take further.
