Senior Infrastructure Engineer (OpenShift/Kubernetes)

Salary: $130-$145 per hour, including superannuation

About the opportunity

Hope IT Consulting is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a Federal Government engagement supporting enterprise Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.

This is a hands-on role focused on administering, maintaining and improving on-premises container platforms. You will work with infrastructure, security, application and architecture teams to maintain platform availability, security and performance.

Contract: 12 months, with extension options of up to 24 months

Estimated start: 1 January 2027

Rate: $130-$145 per hour, including superannuation

Locations: Canberra preferred; Melbourne and Brisbane also considered

Eligibility: Australian citizenship and active NV1 security clearance required

Hybrid working may be considered. Candidates must live within reasonable travelling distance of the relevant office and be available to attend onsite
