Senior Manager, Data Architect

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as a hands-on Senior Manager Architect in a large, complex data-led organisation • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with modern, cloud-scale data technologies, including distributed data processing architectures (Spark, PySpark, Python, Airflow) • Experience with ELT data processing underpinning Data LakeHouses and Data Products for scaled use within ML and AI • Expertise in streaming data, event-driven design, data governance, and the AWS cloud technology stack (e.g. Glue, ServerLess, DynamoDB) • Track record of leading the architecture vision, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data applications, with a focus on distributed data processing systems, Data LakeHouse, Data Products, streaming data, and ML and AI platform capabilities • Working knowledge of ML and Generative AI, including agentic AI-based systems within the architecture
