Assistant Vice President - Data Analytics

Symetra is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Data Analytics to help drive our transformation into a data‑driven enterprise focusing on our annuities and retirement solutions division. In this senior leadership role, you’ll shape strategy, lead high‑impact analytics initiatives, and guide teams that build the insights and capabilities powering our business decisions.

About the role

In this role, you will lead cross‑functional teams—including data engineers, architects, developers, BI analysts, and data scientists—to deliver analytics solutions that make a meaningful impact across Symetra. You’ll partner closely with business and technology leaders to understand needs, design data‑driven strategies, and execute plans that support innovation, efficiency, revenue growth, and an exceptional customer experience.

What You will Do
