About the Role

As an A/V Engineer at Uber, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and supporting advanced A/V systems across our global office footprint. Sitting within the Digital Experience team, you will apply your technical acumen and engineering discipline to design, configure, test, and optimize A/V solutions that meet the evolving needs of a hybrid workforce and high-impact collaboration environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring advanced scripting/configuration skills, architectural design fluency, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain high-reliability A/V environments. You will work cross-functionally with Product Managers, IT, Workplace, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless A/V system performance, contributing to engineering excellence through robust documentation, mentoring, and operational rigor.

What the Candidate Will Do

1. Design and implement scalable and high-performing A/V solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. 2. Write, test, and maintain configuration scripts and automation to deploy and manage A/V systems across Uber offices. 3. Proactively monitor and improve A/V system reliability by building observability (alerts, telemetry, health dashboards) into production systems. 4.
