Requirements:
• A degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline • Proven production MongoDB administration experience, including sharding and replication • Strong PostgreSQL or equivalent enterprise RDBMS experience • Strong grounding in backup, recovery, point-in-time recovery (PITR) and high availability • Scripting and automation experience with Bash, Python or Golang • Exposure to Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab or broader DevOps practices is an advantage
Responsibilities:
• Administer MongoDB sharded clusters and replica sets, alongside PostgreSQL environments • Tune performance, queries and configurations for high-traffic, data-intensive workloads • Own backup, restore, PITR and high-availability strategy across globally distributed systems • Monitor platform health using Ops Manager, Prometheus and Grafana • Work with software
