Operational Technology & IT Systems Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Production-first mindset and calm, structured troubleshooting under pressure • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills to work across Operations, Engineering, Finance, and third-party vendors • Experience supporting systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or in a role with high uptime requirements • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP, VLANs, routing concepts, and their impact on shop-floor systems • Practical experience supporting Windows endpoints and basic server or service dependencies in an operational environment • Working knowledge of SQL fundamentals • Ability to coordinate vendors and maintain disciplined documentation • Desirable: experience supporting production data systems and integrations • Desirable: experience with IT segmentation concepts and vendor access
