Mid Level Oracle Database Administrator

Salary: $100,000 annually

Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Oracle Database Administrator to support the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO). This position will provide database administration, development, and maintenance as part of a four-person SQL and Oracle team supporting enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Create, configure, and maintain Oracle databases across on-premises and cloud systems, including Oracle Grid and Oracle RMAN technologies. • Troubleshoot database and application integration issues; investigate root causes and perform Oracle database and PL/SQL tuning. • Execute approved installations, patching, and maintenance; manage assigned ServiceNow incidents and change requests. • Perform and validate backups and restores using Oracle RMAN; implement and test high availability and disaster recovery procedures. • Monitor database health and capacity with the team's monitoring tools, including Idera and SolarWinds as applicable. • Develop database scripts and automation, document changes and resolutions, and submit weekly activity reports.
