Senior Data Analyst

Salary: £45,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• A university degree (2:1 or above) in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field. • Grade A or above at A-Level Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification. • A proven track record of typically 4+ years as a Data Analyst, with substantial hands-on experience building and deploying Power BI dashboards in a live business environment. • Advanced skills in DAX and Power Query, plus strong working knowledge of SQL for querying and shaping large datasets. • A demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight for non-technical stakeholders. • Excellent attention to detail and a rigorous, evidence-based approach to problem-solving. • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to present to senior leaders. • A postgraduate qualification in a quantitative or data-related subject is desirable. • Experience with Python or R for analysis or automation is desirable. • Experience in the automotive, warranty, insurance or financial services sector is desirable. • Familiarity with Azure data services such as Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, or similar cloud data platforms is desirable. • Microsoft Power BI certification, such as PL-300, or equivalent is desirable.
