Technical Product Owner

Salary: £58,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Product ownership experience across networked systems, sensing technology, or radio communication technology • Experience working with data science and machine learning teams, ideally in surveillance, video analytics, or intelligence settings • Good understanding of best practice in Agile software delivery and the product owners role • Ability to work at pace, manage change, and reduce uncertainty • Ability to work closely with development teams while considering longer-term product direction and innovation • Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, data scientists, and developers • Clear, concise communication skills, including explaining complex topics to non-technical audiences and gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and users • Pragmatic approach to product management and Agile delivery • Ability to convey requirements in formal documentation and user story format • Some background in software development, solution architecture, or another technical discipline is beneficial • Willingness to extend product skills into software delivery management • Maritime or asset-tracking experience is a bonus, as is experience with radio communications systems or IoT products • An engineering degree is beneficial but not essential
