Salary: $125,000 annually

Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to support the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO). This position will provide database administration, development, and maintenance as part of a four-person SQL and Oracle team supporting enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Oracle databases across on-premises and cloud systems, including Oracle Grid and Oracle RMAN technologies. • Diagnose complex Oracle database and application integration issues; tune database performance and support PL/SQL development. • Plan and execute installations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance through approved change procedures. • Support backup and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN, high availability, disaster recovery planning, and recovery testing. • Monitor database health and capacity with the team's monitoring tools, including Idera and SolarWinds as applicable. • Manage ServiceNow incidents and change requests through closure; document resolutions and provide weekly activity reports.
