Salary: $125,000 annually

Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to support the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO). This position will provide database administration, development, and maintenance as part of a four-person SQL and Oracle team supporting enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure SQL Server databases and SQL Cluster environments across on-premises and cloud systems. • Diagnose complex database, server, and application integration issues; perform query and database performance tuning. • Plan and execute installations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance through approved change procedures. • Support backup and recovery strategies, high availability, disaster recovery planning, and recovery testing. • Use Idera and SolarWinds to monitor database health, evaluate capacity, and identify performance risks. • Manage ServiceNow incidents and change requests through closure; document resolutions and provide weekly activity reports.
